Shipping & Processing

How long is processing and shipping?

Our raw hair is sourced fresh and fulfilled with care.
Processing & fulfillment: 7–18 business days
Shipping: 2–4 business days

During sales or high-volume periods, processing may extend slightly.
Every order is handcrafted and worth the wait.

Why does processing take longer than other brands?

Because our extensions are raw, ethically sourced, and made to order, not pulled from a warehouse.
We source from real women, cleanse the hair, weft it, inspect it, and prepare it — this level of craftsmanship takes time.

Raw hair is a luxury, not fast fashion.

Can you provide worldwide shipping?

Yes we provide worldwide shipping. Shipping fees are calculated at checkout.

Raw Hair Education

What’s the difference between Raw Hair and Virgin Hair?

RAW HAIR — Single Donor • Aligned Cuticles • Pure Quality
Raw hair is cut from one single donor, with all cuticles aligned in the same direction. This alignment keeps the hair smooth, manageable, and long-lasting.
It undergoes little to no processing, which is why it behaves exactly like naturally growing human hair.

Raw hair is known for:
• 3–4+ year lifespan
• Natural movement and softness
• Beautiful response to heat and styling
• Lowest tangling due to aligned cuticles
• Consistent performance because every bundle comes from one donor

This is the most premium hair available.

VIRGIN HAIR — Multi-Donor • Chemically Treated • Coated
Virgin hair is collected from multiple donors, so the cuticles are not aligned. To make the hair look uniform, it typically undergoes chemical processing, dyeing, and heavy silicone coating.

These coatings make the hair look silky at first, but they wear off quickly — revealing dryness and tangling because the cuticles don’t align.

Virgin hair is known for:
• Shorter lifespan — usually 6–12 months
• More tangling and shedding
• Heavy chemical processing

• Inconsistent texture from bundle to bundle
• Lower long-term quality

Virgin hair isn’t ā€œbad,ā€ but it is not comparable to true raw hair in longevity, purity, or integrity.

Are your curly textures raw?

Our curly textures come from real donors, but tight curly patterns are extremely rare in ethical donation regions.
To create inclusive textures for all women, we use a gentle steam-setting process that mimics natural Type 3–4 curls.

• No synthetic fibers
• No silicone coatings
• Texture lasts for the ENTIRE life of the hair

This allows every woman to find a texture that feels true to her identity.

Styling & Coloring

Can I straighten your curly or wavy hair?

Yes. Our raw hair flat irons beautifully — but treat it like your own natural hair.

To protect the curl pattern:
• Always use heat protectant
• Avoid extreme heat
• Use high-quality tools (T3, Babyliss, Dyson)

With proper care, curls always revert back when washed.

Can I color this hair?

Absolutely. Our Raw hair lifts beautifully because it is real, human hair.

However, here’s the transparent truth:

Some donors experience natural sun-lightened strands, which can create red or golden hues.
To give you even, consistent bundles, we lightly tone these pieces back to a uniform shade.
No harsh chemicals. Just color correction for consistency.

If you want bright colors, we recommend professional coloring for the healthiest results.

Product Details & Longevity

How long does the hair last?

With proper care, our raw hair lasts 3–4+ years.
It maintains its softness, fullness, and movement because it is NOT coated with fillers or silicones.

How should I maintain the hair?

Treat it like your natural hair:

• Wash regularly
• Use hydrating conditioners
• Minimal product buildup
• Sleep in a bonnet or on silk
• Brush from ends → upward
• Deep condition if curls become dry
• Store clean hair in your AnJae MonnĆ©a satin bag

This keeps your extensions soft, healthy, and long-lasting.

Are our Extensions ethically sourced?

At AnJae Monea Collection Extensions, we take pride in our hair being ethically sourced from multiple regions and providing financial gain to the communities in which we source. All of our donors are volunteers and receive compensation. We do not sell hair that has been cut from temples or for religious purposes that have been exploited.

Other Common Questions

Why do your bundles look so full?

Our donors’ hair is cut from one person, aligned from root to ends, and never mixed with short filler hairs.
This gives the bundles their signature fullness and natural density.
